| Two gallons of cider from Orchard Valley and a half gallon of Cherry Cider from Grandpa's Cheesebarn in Ashland, OH. I built a starter from some of the cider to be sure no yeast-killing chemicals had been used. |
Comments
2009-01-26: The body is a little thin, but the cider tastes quite good. There is a mild carbonation from primary fermentation, but it will need quite a bit more after bottling. 2009-04-04: This has aged quite well. The cherry flavor does not seem to come out in it at all, but it is quite a good cider. Next time I will definitely use the enzyme to clear it up. |
